Done with my Christmas Cards... & yes - I already TOOK a Hike!

It's true - I did BOTH of those things in the last few days!

I designed and assembled my Christmas cards... I am pretty happy with them! If you have been around this blog for very long, you know that while the design may be basic, each card is individual... I think I made about 65 or 70! Trying to cut the mailing list a bit... it just gets so crazy but, who doesn't love getting Christmas cards!? Anyway - here is a sampling of what I did:

In anticipation of at least SOME of you telling me to take a hike due to my own awesomeness... I went ahead and did just that! I hiked the Cowiche Canyon Loop trail with my sister... it took us two hours and we had a great time! It was cold - but not too cold... and even though by the end the clouds looked pretty ominous, the rain held off and we were thankful for that! This is also our destination for our now annual Thanksgiving hike! Maybe next week we'll get a little frost here and there?! Here are a few shots from the hike:

Later that same day, I met up with a few friends and we went downtown and did a Prayer Walk... prayed over the businesses, housing, and issues related to that area... so exciting to see God moving in our city!

Oh and last weeks' Scrap Challenge on my Scrap to Lose Team on SparkPeople was to scrapbook something that we are thankful for! So - once again I am feelin' a bit like Bucket here in scrapping the same photo over and over (and over and over) - but this is what I came up with:

One of my friends is taking a photography class in college and asked to use my dd as her model for a required photo shoot! She did a great job and now, of course - I am wanting to take my dd out and play around!!! In fact, I am hoping that maybe next weekend, we will do that - and try to get a few family portraits in too! We'll see?! Here are my favs from Sylvia's photo shoot with Kaye:

So - I am now off to a soccer game, and then a craft bazaar and then home to create! I was asked to lead a workshop at a Scrapbook Retreat in January and I need to pick out a project or two to do... not to mention the Christmas gifts I need to start making?!

Scrap Happy Everyone!

(Ooops, let me rewrite that thought...)

Love the cards, and the paper is fantastic! I'd swear it was shiny, just like snowflakes!

The pics of your hike and dd are awesome! Both look natural and well cared for!
